Because it’s so much more than ‘just’ a bouquet

You’ve been dreaming of your wedding day for months… who are we kidding, you’ve been dreaming of it for years.

But now you’re feeling stuck. Flowers are a big part of your wedding, but who knew there was going to be so much choice? It’s almost like there are 100,000s of wedding flowers to choose from… oh, wait a second…

Your wedding flowers are so much more than something to hold as you walk down the aisle

bride and bridesmaids

The right wedding flowers are so much more than a simple bouquet. And they’re definitely more than something to hide behind as you *oh so gracefully* dab away that tear and thank whoever it was that invented waterproof mascara.

Your wedding flowers tell a tale, and each one is totally unique. A tale of you, your spouse to be, and the story you’ve woven together.

How does the wedding floral design process work?

1. Get in Touch

Send us a message and tell us a little about your wedding and what you’ve been dreaming up. If you’ve got a confirmed date and venue, feel free to share those too. We’ll then send you our wedding checklist (because we all know that wedding planning = more lists than places to put them) and share some information on pricing.

2. Consultation & Concept

This is our favourite bit because we get to meet for a coffee. Our first consultation can take place in person or via FaceTime (but then you’ve got to make your own latte...). We’ll discuss your budget, ideas, style, logistics, what flowers are in season, as well as sharing our own suggestions.

2. The Floral Design

We’ll send you a proposal and custom moodboard, along with quotes to get you started. While wedding plans do evolve, this will act as our foundation for your floral designs. We’ll work with you, and other suppliers, to create beautiful wedding flowers from romantic bouquets and boho flower crowns, to tumbling foliage gardens and eye-catching installations full of movement.

“Ivy Pip & Rose’s work is amazing, I feel so blessed to have found them! Everyone raved about our wedding flowers, they were so gorgeous. The feel of the designs and the colours were just perfect, while the placement of everything was beyond amazing. They killed it! Everyone loved everything!”

“A huge thank you to Ivy Pip & Rose for our beautiful flowers. My bouquet, the bridesmaids’ bouquets and the buttonholes were just lovely and exactly what I'd hoped for. And the flowers really made all the difference to the venue.

The team were so helpful in the months leading up to our wedding and I was absolutely thrilled with the results.”

- Jen, after her wedding at Smiths of Smithfield, London -

While these questions don’t come with quite the same fanfare as the one that had you uttering that magic word “yes”, they are quite useful...

When do I need to have my wedding flowers booked by?

We’re typically booked 9 - 18 months before each wedding so that we have ample time to plan all things floral. Though if you’re planning a quick engagement, a shorter time frame can work as long as we have space! Just bear in mind that weekends between May and September are our busiest times.

How much should I expect to spend?

The prices of your wedding flowers will always depend on the style, the location, the flowers used, the flowers in season, the designs required and many more factors. Most of our couples spend between £1,500 and £2,500 on their wedding flowers, while we operate with a minimum spend of £1,000 for our bespoke wedding package for Friday and Saturday weddings between May and September from 2022.

If that’s not in your budget, we also offer a DIY wedding flowers package to suit those couples looking for a lower-priced option.

When do we need to pay for the flowers?

A 25% non-refundable deposit and one off wedding service fee (toward the preparation work) are payable to confirm the booking. The balance is then payable a month before the wedding.

Can I see some more examples of your work?

Absolutely! Our portfolio page is overflowing with inspiration for your wedding flowers.

Do you deliver and set up/ down the flowers?

Yes. Most wedding venues will ask that decorations and any hired items (like vases, candles and installations) are removed the following day/or by the Monday. We will shore up these arrangements with you and your venue co-ordinator. If you lie nearby, then you can return items to us directly to save an additional cost.

What happens if the flowers I want aren’t in season?

While we do our best to buy local flowers, we also know that certain flowers can be tricky to source in colder months. So, we try to be realistic and have a global network of reliable suppliers available.

Do you provide the vases and flower vessels?

We can help you with hiring vases, urns, candlesticks and tea-light holders to style your wedding and elevate the space with those all-important finishing touches.

I’m not very creative, will that affect the end result?

Not at all! We love to work with creative couples, and we also love to work with couples who are still ironing out their vision. We’re here to give you as much, or as little, guidance as you need.
