Flower Crown Workshops, Plas Mawr, Conwy

We are delighted to being working with Cadw Cymru and hosting two evening flower crown workshops in North Wales on the 13th and 27th June 2020. The workshops will be held at Plas Mawr, a town house in the heart of historic Conwy.

In years gone by, seasonal flowers and foliage would have been used to create crowns with special meanings — such as daisies for innocence and Myrtle, traditionally carried in a Welsh bride’s bouquet, meaning love.

This summer, flower lovers can create their own floral crowns in one of two evening sessions at Plas Mawr — a stunning Tudor townhouse in Conwy.

Using fresh, seasonal flowers, attendees to the ‘Fizz and Flower’ events will be guided through the creative process all while enjoying a glass (or two) of fizz!

Plus, visitors will be treated to an exclusive out-of-hours guided tour of the fascinating historic property.  To book follow the link to the Cadw Cymru website.  Tickets are £35 per person.  The workshop is between 6pm – 9pm.  We look forward to seeing you.

If you are unable to attend these events but are interested in arranging a flower crown workshop in North Wales, for a party or another flower based event then do get in touch.

Mae coronau o flodau i’w gweld yn aml mewn priodasau modern a gwyliau cerddoriaeth – ond oeddech chi’n gwybod bod y creadigaethau cain hyn yn cael eu gwisgo ers canrifoedd i nodi cariad a dathlu?

Flynyddoedd yn ôl, byddai blodau a dail tymhorol yn cael eu defnyddio i greu coronau ag ystyron arbennig – roedd llygad y dydd yn golygu diniweidrwydd, er enghraifft, ac roedd myrtwydd, oedd yn cael eu cario yn nhusw priodferch Gymreig, yn golygu cariad.

Yr haf hwn, caiff pobl sydd wrth eu boddau â blodau greu coronau o flodau mewn un o ddwy sesiwn gyda’r nos ym Mhlas Mawr – tŷ tref Tuduraidd trawiadol yng Nghonwy.

Gan ddefnyddio blodau ffres,  caiff pobl sy’n dod i’r digwyddiadau ‘Bybls a Blodau’ eu tywys drwy’r broses greadigol tra’n mwynhau gwydraid (neu ddau) o bybls!

Hefyd, caiff ymwelwyr fynd ar daith dywys o gwmpas y tŷ hanesyddol hynod ddiddorol hwn ar ôl yr  oriau agor arferol.
